Please collect and prepare and send the following documents:
1) You must send your valid signed US Passport with at least 6 months of validity left and one blank visa page.
2) 2 Passport Photos. Photos must be 2x2, color or black and white with a plain or white background.
3) Visa Application Form (signed and completed)
4) A copy of yellow fever vaccination card is required for all applicants traveling to Kenya.
5) Proof of Departure-in the form of a copy of your plane tickets or a copy of your itinerary from the travel agent showing name and date of travel.
6) Business Letter:
A business letter of responsibility is required, the letter must be addressed to the Embassy of Kenya, it must explain the nature of business to be performed. This letter must also include contact information, name, address, and phone number, for someone in Kenya.
*The Letter must be typed on company letterhead and singed by someone, other then the applicant. This must be an original letter.
7). Letter of Invitation:
A letter of invitation is required from your host, or business contact in Kenya.
8) Important: You must fill out the American Passport Express Customer Information Form
9) Processing Fees:
One Money Order, company check or bank check made payable to The Consulate of Kenya (see table below).
One check or money order made payable to American Passport Express for:
Rush Visa Processing $99 -leaving in 15 days or less
Standard Visa Processing $59- leaving in more than 15 days
