Please collect and prepare and send the following documents:

1. You must send your valid US Passport with at least 6 months of validity left and one blank visa page.

2. Two Passport Photos. They must be 2x2, color or black and white with a plain light or white background and show a full front view of face.

3. Two copies of the Visa Application Form (signed and completed). As of April 2005, all applications for an Algerian visa must be typed. The Consulate is no longer accepting hand written applications.

4. Important: You must fill out the American Passport Express Customer Information Form

5. Copy of Itinerary or plane ticket from either an airline or travel agent showing exit from Algeria.

6. Copy of Hotel reservations for stay in Algeria.

7. Processing Fees:

One Money Order made payable to the Consulate General of Algeria (see table below) Do not send personal or company checks. Include your name and date of birth on the money order. Do not include your address on the money order.

One check or money order made payable to American Passport Express for:

Rush Visa Processing $70 -leaving in 15 days or less

Standard Visa Processing $55- leaving in more than 15 days
