You must send your valid U.S. passport. The passport must have at least 6 months of validity left, and have at least 1 blank visa page. (Blank endorsement pages in your passport are not acceptable.)

Photos must be 2x2, black and white, or color, with a white, or light background, and show a full, front view of your face. The photos must also be printed on photo quality paper, photos printed on normal paper will be rejected by the embassy.

You will be required to submit 2 copies of an official invitation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs approval required for Moscow and St. Petersburg regions).
